DESCRIPTION AND PURPOSE:
The project aims to contribute to improving the nutritional status, health, productivity and socio-economic conditions of the Sahrawi population through the activation of training courses, female empowerment, capacity building, agricultural practices and support for sustainable local food production. It includes the creation of 8 new female food processing groups, support for 7 previously created groups and support, through the start of forage cultivation, of a public sheep and goat farm active from 2022 in N’jeila. An extraordinary awareness campaign on Brucellosis and the risks of wandering grazing will be organized, supporting the veterinary staff of the Ministry of Public Health and thus improving the effectiveness to guarantee consumer health and animal productivity.
